Taliri West Kilimanjaro
LOCATION
TALIRI-WEST KILIMANJARO is located, in Northern Tanzania, Kilimanjaro Region in Siha district. Annual average rainfall lies between 450-700mm which occurs in two seasons late March to May (long rains) and November and December (short rains)

- coordinate small ruminant research including other mandates:
- identification, Characterization and conservation of different strains of small ruminants from various agro-ecological zones
- Selection and Multiplication of Malya goats and other breeds
